This small shop is a must for those who want to savour and get to know local gastronomy.

Kėdainiai is called the capital of cucumbers of Lithuania. Starting from the XIXth century, a lot of Kėdainiai district inhabitants were engaged in growing cucumbers. This refreshing, tasty and healthy vegetable was and still is one of the most popular summer vegetables!

In the shop "Gurkė", you will buy cucumber jam, lyophilized cucumbers in chocolate, cucumber caramels, cucumber mead, cucumber dressings and other traditional and innovative products reflecting agrarian traditions of this area.

The shop sells a big variety of traditional Lithuanian smoked meat, hams and sausages and local produce: tinned catfish, mackarel, perch with various flavourings.
